Beluga Lentils

Our beautiful beluga lentils have a high fiber content and are naturally rich in protein. They have a mildly nutty taste and are especially delicious in a salad, as an accompaniment to various dishes, in soups and stews or mixed into a creamy mixture. Beluga lentils have a wonderful elasticity and go well with flavors such as tomato, garlic, lemon and thyme.


Cooking
2 servings
1 dl beluga lenses
3 dl water
1/2 krm salt

Rinse the lentils in cold water.
Boil in plenty of water and a pinch of our good country broth or salt.
Let simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes, or until soft. Pour off excess water if needed.
